The Story

Unlike most other metallurgical microscopes, this model comes with both reflected and transmitted illumination. It is an ideal instrument for metallurgical and materials analysis. It is also a great microscopy system for viewing transparent materials including those in biological applications. It comes with a 30 degree inclined 360 degree rotatable trinocular head, coarse and fine focusing, mechanical stage, and halogen reflected and transmitted illumination system. This is an excellent metallurgical microscopy system for a variety of industrial and research applications including metallurgical labs, silicon wafer inspection, industrial Inspection, quality control, and foundries.

Change magnifications quickly using the four-lens turret without significant refocusing thanks to the parfocal design. Using the included 10X eyepieces, the magnification range spans from 40X to 1000X with four unique settings. The lenses are achromatically corrected for improved resolution, and flat-field corrected to ensure edge-to-edge sharpness.
