The Story

The T750 is a larger-profile compound microscope for professionals in biological fields. The instrument’s functionality can be expanded with a large range of optional accessories including arc-lamp or LED epi-fluorescence, phase-contrast, and darkfield. The infinity-corrected, plan-achromatic optics provide high-resolution images with edge-to-edge sharpness, and optional apochromatic and semi-apochromatic objectives are available for improved resolution and transmittance. The Koehler illumination-system is designed for precision, with a variable-NA swing-condenser allowing the use of high and low magnifications with full, even coverage.

Viewing Head

The microscope's head is designed for precision and comfort. The super-widefield optics provide a larger field-of-view so you can see more specimen at any magnification. Compensation-free Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment allows any user to properly align the oculars without readjusting focus. For users with astigmatism or asymmetrical vision, the left ocular can be adjusted to fine-tune focus. The photo port is equipped with a 23mm tube for attaching cameras with compensating lenses, and is height-adjustable to match focus with the eyepieces. The port is compatible with our YX series C-mount adapters which can attach directly to C-mount cameras without a compensating lens – ideal for 1” format sensors. The head is set to a 30° incline which is ideal for viewing from a standing position, and it can be rotated 360°.

Optics

The infinity-corrected optical system eliminates optical errors when using filters and other in-line components, ensuring highly precise images. The quintuple objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels with an open port for one additional lens. This allows you to efficiently move through magnifications from 40X to 1000X. The turret's reversed orientation provides more working room above the stage. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy, with planatic flat-field correction to provide edge-to-edge sharpness.

The Stage

The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides, with a large translation range for viewing larger samples. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level. Symmetrical focus controls are coaxially mounted for fast, intuitive focusing. A height limit can be set to prevent contact damage, as well as presetting optimal focus distance.

Koehler Transmitted Illumination

Built on Koehler illumination principals, the sub-stage lighting provides evenly-distributed light for optimal contrast. The rear-mounted 30W halogen light-source provides 100 CRI illumination with ample brightness for contrast-enhancement methods like darkfield. The lower color temperature of the halogen light-source causes less eyestrain compared to high-Kelvin LED. The light condenser uses a swing mechanism for optimized lighting at both high and low magnifications, with a NA0.25 setting for full coverage at extremely low magnifications. An iris diaphragm allows you to adjust the aperture to optimize contrast and depth-of-field. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion height adjustment for precision control, and is centerable for proper alignment. The condenser is top-mounted for easier replacement when working with additional condensers. The illuminator's field lens provides an iris diaphragm to control light-spread, optimizing contrast and definition in specimen features.

Digital Imaging

This package includes an all-in-one imaging system which combines the technologies of a 5MP microscope camera with an Android tablet to provide a feature-rich experience like no other. The high-resolution 9.7” screen brings your microscopic subjects to life in vivid color, with 90° tilt and 360° swivel to set the screen to a comfortable angle while standing or sitting. Touchscreen navigation allows you to capture photos and videos with ease using the built-in software, as well as performing measurement functions. With all of the functionality you would expect from a cutting-edge tablet, the possibilities are endless.

For added flexibility, the tablet is equipped with a micro-HDMI output to expand your display to a larger format when needed, such as a television or monitor. When it comes to file storage, you will be spoiled for choices: you can use the internal storage, save to a microSD card or USB device, or transfer files over you wi-fi network.
