Student-grade partial immersion thermometer with a temperature range of -10° – 150°C. Contains a petroleum-based column with red dye. The thermometer measures 12" long with an outer diameter of 6-7mm.

Partial immersion thermometers are useful if you have a shallow container that holds the substance to be measured. These thermometers have a small indicator ring that denotes the depth to which the thermometer should be submerged to obtain an accurate temperature reading.
