The sub-stage halogen illuminator provides switchable brightfield and darkfield with an iris aperture for transmitted lighting. A gooseneck-mounted LED lamp provides reflected illumination for surface inspection. All lights are variable-intensity for prcision control. The stage-mounted gem-clamp can be swiveled and twisted for precise positioning.
