The Story
The HD448N multi-function camera brings 4K imaging to your microscopy system. The camera uses a standard C-mount interface for mounting directly to compatible photo ports, or can be used with a reduction lens to mount on tube interfaces. The HD448N can be used with a digital display such as a monitor or television, using integrated software with on-screen controls. With USB and network connectivity, the camera can also be tethered to a computer using included software for control, image capture, and processing.
Flexible Imaging Solution
A powerful image capture system lies at your fingertips. The HD448N's internal recording system allows you to capture 4K videos and photos up to 8MP with the click of a mouse. The camera can record to Secure Digital media or a USB flash drive, eliminating the need for a computer. Built-in software provides image processing and measurement tools for a complete standalone experience. Alternatively, you can connect the camera through LAN or 5GHz wi-fi, and control and capture with your PC. Our dedicated microscopy software provides an expansive range of professional tools, including time lapse, stitching, and focus stacking. Now, anyone on the network can access the camera for a new level of convenience.
The camera uses a standard C-mount interface to connect to a wide range of microscopes and lenses. For microscopes with 23mm photo ports, you can pair the camera with an optional 0.5X reduction lens to optimize the field-of-view. The rear-facing I/O panel can help with cable management, and reduces potential light contamination from overhead lighting.
4X the Resolution of HD
4K UHD has 4 times the resolution of 1080p HD. The 2160p standard provides 3840x2160 pixels for sharper images with greater detail.
Network Connectivity
Connect to your local network using 5GHz wi-fi or gigabit ethernet to control and capture using our powerful microscopy software. The camera can broadcast its own wi-fi network or connect to an existing network using DHCP or manual configurations.
