This is a 10X achromatic phase-contrast objective lens for DIN-standard microscopes. An integrated phase-ring enhances contrast of invisible details when used with a compatible condenser and phase annulus. As light passes through a specimen with varying refractive indicies, otherwise invisible details can be imaged by manipulating the phase of light. Intended primarily for biological applications, this lens is designed to work with microscopes using 160mm tube-length and 45mm parfocal distance. Achromatic correction provides improved color accuracy and resolution.
