The UTP200X020MP USB digital microscope provides a high-quality, low-cost solution for digital-imaging. Used with a stand or handheld, the microscope provides up to 200X magnification when used with your computer. A simple USB connection is all it takes, and the provided software allows you to view real-time video. You can record video files or still images, or just watch the live feed while you explore the microscopic world. Eight built-in LEDs provide light to ensure clear images.
The applications are only limited by the imagination. You can use the microscope to get a closer look at everyday items, or plan an experiment such as bacteria-culturing. The digital microscope can work from varying distances, and provides a safe way to view things. It's often used for watch-repair and soldering, because it can provide hands-free magnification on a computer screen.
The UTP200X020MP uses a universal UVC driver, so it is compatible with most desktop computers including Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. The provided software for Windows includes advanced tools for time-lapse, image-stitching, measurements, and much more. The lite version of the software for Mac and Linux provides basic functionality for capturing photos and videos, along with color-correction and measurement tools. For Android users, an OTG micro-USB or USB-C adapter (not provided) can be used to connect the microscope to OTG-compatible devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The microscope draws its power from the USB connection, so you can turn a compatible Android device into a fully-portable digital-microscopy system!
