This compact binocular stereo microscope has switchable 2X and 4X objective lenses, as well as sub-stage and overhead lighting. While the sub-stage light provides transmitted illumination for translucent specimens, the collar-mounted top-light provides reflected illumination for opaque objects. The microscope's height can be adjusted along a metal pillar, with smaller adjustments made using symmetrical focusing knobs.
